I want to say “Happy Fall,” but it’s not quite that time yet. September 22nd is officially the first day of my favorite season, although it will unfortunately be quite a while before we need jackets and scarves here in the southeast. Our household is currently in full swing of back-to-school for the year, as well as what I like to refer to as “birthday season” since all of our kids have fall birthdays. I’m taking my first trip to Disney since I was a kid myself, and will be out of the office September 19-22. I don’t think I’m even going to travel with my laptop, which is probably a first for me! Once I get home, if anyone needs to meet and discuss your graphics and marketing over some pumpkin coffee, you know who to call! –Gina :)
DID YOU KNOW?
“White space” or “negative space” is so important in design! The human eyes and brain can only take in so much information at once, before we skim over the piece and miss details or entire sections.
Proper white space in a design will increase the viewer’s comprehension of the information that you’re providing to them. Determine what is most important and allow it to have some space to stand out. Leave empty space around content in your design to allow it to breathe!
